We are Wake Up! and we are interested in happiness in the workplace. How some companies embrace it and how some companies go to lengths to avoid it. What is it that makes us tick as employers and employees and what is it that we really strive to feel in the workplace.

Where does the Lollipop effect come from.  This came about one Friday after a particularily hard fortnight at work. As all my staff where clocking out I handed them a lollipop and thanked them for their great work. All the other departments that where clocking out asked for a lollipop. I said ” if you don’t work for me you don’t get a lollipop”. A simple exercise and not very costly but the effects on my staffs morale for the following fortnight was positively visible. Little things mean a lot.

We love happiness and we love to show you how to embrace it and bring it to your workplace.Happiness can not be purchased but when you or your organization experiences it the value can be priceless.

Happy Days

I heard a couple of guys talking about this in the New York subway so I looked it up online and found your page. Thanks. I thought I was right and you confirmed my thoughts. Thanks for the work you’ve put into this. I’d love to save this and share with my friends.
